Awesome Toy Showcase – Avengers: Infinity War

Alright! The highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is upon us – “Avengers: Infinity War”. I look forward to catching the movie, hopefully with my friendzone movie buddy. And I thought a showcase of MCU figures will be quite timely.

Thanos the Mad Titan seeks the Infinity Stones…

“Fine, I’ll do it myself… Puts a smile on my face…”

And the heroes assemble to fight against the big bad and his minions.

Okay, that was a bit abbreviated, but I’ll rather not go too much into spoilers. And besides, until the 3.75″ figures with the characters’ actual likeness in “Avengers: Infinity War” are released, a combination of previously released MCU figures and/or their comics counterparts will suffice for this showcase.

In fact, I’ll go into them right here –
1) Captain America – but with the Steve Roger’s head from “Captain America: The First Avenger”, and the body from “Captain America: Civil War”. And no beard.
2) Iron Man Mark 43 from “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. Methinks this is the most recent armor in the 3.75″ scale.
3) War Machine Mark 2, part of the Iron Man Assemblers toy line from “Iron Man 3”.
4) Thor, in his gladiator outfit (without cape) from “Thor: Ragnarok”. No eyepatch.
5) Black Widow from “The Avengers“. Not blonde disguise, and the suit’s different.
6) Scarlet Witch from “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
7) Vision from “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
8) Ant-Man from “Ant-Man”.
9) Winter Soldier from “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, using a comics version head.
10) Black Panther from “Captain America: Civil War”.
11) Hawkeye from “The Avengers“.
12) Falcon from “Captain America: Civil War”.
13) Hulk from “Avengers: Infinity War” 6″ toy line, which is surprisingly close enough in scale with the 3.75″ figures.
14) Doctor Strange from “Doctor Strange“.
15) Spider-Man from “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. Not exactly in the new advanced suit he wears in “Infinity War”.
16) Star-Lord from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, using the head of Owen Grady from “Jurassic World”.
17) Drax, comics version.
18) Gamora, comics version.
19) Nebula, comics version.
20) Rocket Raccoon from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, made by Takara Tomy.
21) Baby Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy”, source unknown, believed to be bootleg. Groot is actually a teenager in “Infinity War”.

So much fighting, why all the doom and gloom? How about I show some pics of the Avengers hanging out in their free time, in a Cantina far, far away…
