Custom MCU Figure – Mighty Thor (“Thor: Love and Thunder”)

Hello world! Here’s a custom figure of MCU Mighty Thor, Jane Foster’s alter ego in “Thor: Love and Thunder” :

The cancer-stricken Dr. Jane Foster was searching for possible treatments when she thought she heard Thor’s hammer Mjolnir calling to her. Upon reading about how Mjolnir grants its wielder great health, Foster began to investigate, arriving at New Asgard to inspect the shattered weapon. Unknown to Foster, Thor had placed an enchantment on Mjolnir to protect Foster whenever she was in mortal danger. Sensing Foster’s presence, Mjolnir restored itself and chose Foster to wield it, transforming her into Thor’s image with Asgardian armor and a winged helmet. Now able to possess the power of Thor, Foster called herself “Mighty Thor”, and she helped in the defence of New Asgard when it came under attack by Shadow Monsters, during which Thor also arrived and he demanded that the new champion reveal herself to him.

The design of MCU Mighty Thor’s suit is fairly comic-accurate, with many reused elements especially the helmet. Valkyrie’s torso and arms were used so that Mighty Thor can have two gripping hands to hold her weapons, the original arms only had a gripping left hand and a clenched right fist that is unable to hold anything. The skirt was trimmed slightly shorter to better match the onscreen appearance, and likewise the symbol on the helmet was painted brown instead of being left unpainted.

An unhelmeted head was also purchased for more scene re-creation possibilities. The restored Mjolnir was created by painting on the fracture patterns using metallic blue color.
